Women's Intramurals

Womens_Intramurals_1966.jpgIntramural competition for women was managed by the Women's Athletic Association. Every girl was required to take physical training, and was urged to participate in as many sports as possible. The sports included tennis, tumbling, volleyball, dancing, hockey, baseball, and basketball. In 1966 the women's intramural volleyball team was coached by Miss Erickson. This was different than present day because now most intramural teams do not have coaches.
