Technology Awards

Dakota State University was selected as one of the ten finalists for the 1987 G. Theodore Mitau Award. This award recognizes innovation and change in a University. The winner is voted on by the American Association of State Colleges and Universities, the nation's largest association of higher education institutes.

In 1998 Dakota State University was ranked 12th on Yahoo Magazine's list of the 100 most wired universities in the US and 10th on the list in 1999. DSU also ranked 9th on the Baccalaureate list in 2000.

A news release stated that Dakota State University was the best comprehensive public college in the Midwest according to U.S. News & World Report magazine's annual analysis of "America's Best College 2007".
